My name is Joshua Baron. I live in Lehi, Utah with my wife, Brittany. We have twelve children (such a long story).
Your law practice is a work in progress. It will never be finished because you’re not finished learning and growing.
Attorneys are terrible at customer service. But it’s surprisingly easy and rewarding to serve your clients once you understand what they need.
“Networking” is miserable and unnecessary. But once you find an effortless way to generously build relationships, you’ll know everyone you need to know.
More money will not make you love your law practice. You’ll hate your law practice if it’s not profitable. But you won’t love your practice just because it’s profitable. You’ll love your practice if it allows you to work with autonomy, competence, and relatedness.
Your clients can’t evaluate whether you’re a good criminal defense lawyer. Instead, they evaluate how they feel when they’re with you. If you alleviate their stress and anxiety, they’ll do whatever it takes to work with you.
